The story
Curtis Krouzel and Sheri-Lee Turner-Krouzel hand-planted the first vines in 2009. The estate now has more than 55 acres under vine on its 61-acre property, with Pinot Noir as the main focus, alongside Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Chardonnay, a traditional-method sparkling wine and a dry Pinot Noir rosé. Winemaker Matthew Fortuna has led the cellar since 2013.
The modern winery buildings, with their glass walls and covered patios, are part of the experience, and the estate offers guided tours down into its underground wine cave. The winery ships wine across Canada and runs a wine club, the Unparalleled Club.

Block One restaurant
Block One is named after the estate's first vineyard block, planted in 2009. The kitchen is built around a wood-fired oven, and the outdoor dining room sits under a large cantilevered roof with views over the vines to Okanagan Lake (it moves indoors for winter). Reservations are strongly recommended through OpenTable, for parties of up to 10. For something special, the Granite Room hosts a five-course chef's tasting for up to six guests.
What's on the menu
The dinner menu is organised into seafood, meat and poultry, vegetarian and small plates. Recent dishes have included char siu-style octopus, scallops with Panang curry and corn, halibut with prawn bisque, an oyster trio, a dry-aged pork chop, lamb sirloin with heirloom beans, Wagyu chuck with a beef cheek dumpling, carrot mezzelune, and charcuterie and cheese boards.
